We are excited to share our celebration with you!
Anna and Felix found one another amidst the magnificent chaos of New York City – that great, churning, improbable metropolis where the most unlikely things have a habit of coming true. It was there, in the city that never sleeps (and rarely sits still), that two lives quietly began to intertwine.

After many adventures, it was on the glacier of Mount Denali in Alaska – beneath a sky of impossible enormity, surrounded by ice and silence and the kind of grandeur that makes one feel simultaneously very small and very fortunate – that Felix asked the most important question of his life. Anna said yes. The glacier, for its part, remained stoically unmoved. The cherubs, however, were reportedly beside themselves with delight.
Now they are excited to take the next step and want to celebrate this moment with you.

We are taking a ride on one of Vienna's beloved historic trams – the Bim – along the iconic Ringstraße boulevard. The Ring-Rund route is a circular tour past the city's greatest monuments: the State Opera, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Parliament, City Hall, and the Burgtheater. The historic trams date from the early 20th century and have been lovingly preserved. Sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, and let Vienna's grandeur roll past the window.
Meeting point and further details to follow. Learn more about Rent-a-Bim →
Please be seated by 12:45. The service will commence at 1:00pm. The Peterskirche – one of Vienna's most spectacular baroque churches – will provide a fittingly magnificent backdrop. Please arrive in good time.
After photographs in front of the church, please make your way to the Palais Niederösterreich at a leisurely pace – feel free to return briefly to your hotel if needed. Drinks and finger food will be served upon arrival until 4:30pm.
There is a private coat room (unstaffed, at your own risk) where you may leave a jacket, bags, pram, or any baby essentials you require.
Please make your way up the steps for one last sober 😉 group photo. Upon arriving on the upper floor you will find the seating plan – please locate and take your seats. Music will accompany dinner throughout the evening.
A band and DJ will kick things off after dinner, and the adjacent bar will have you thoroughly covered – if you behave yourselves.
Please note: The venue closes at 1:00am. All belongings must be collected from the coat room before then. The cherubs retire promptly at midnight, and they are not to be argued with.
A gentle Sunday recovery — in the best possible sense. We will meet at noon at Nußdorf (the last stop of the D Tram) and set off on a short hike through the local Heurigen, winding our way up through the vineyards with sweeping views over Vienna from the top of the hill.
Wear comfortable shoes, bring sunglasses, and come prepared to enjoy the scenery — and perhaps a glass of local Grüner Veltliner or two along the way. Wine crawl warmly encouraged. 🍷
"Vienna is a city made for wandering. Stay in the 1st District, step outside your hotel, and you are already exactly where you need to be."
We recommend staying in Vienna's 1st District (Innere Stadt). Both the Peterskirche and Palais Niederösterreich are located here, and the entire historic centre is comfortably walkable. The 1st District offers a superb range of accommodation – from grand Ringstraße hotels such as the Imperial, Bristol, and Sacher, to charming boutique options tucked into beautiful historic courtyards. Staying centrally means you are never more than a short stroll from the church, the venue, or a very good Viennese coffeehouse.
Vienna is justly famous for its public transport. The U-Bahn, trams, and buses connect the entire city with remarkable efficiency. A 24- or 48-hour travel card is excellent value and covers all modes.
Vienna's historic centre is thoroughly walkable. The Peterskirche and Palais Niederösterreich are a comfortable stroll apart. The entire 1st district can be crossed on foot in under 20 minutes – do bring comfortable shoes, especially for cobblestones.
Vienna International Airport (VIE) is well connected to most major cities. The City Airport Train (CAT) reaches Wien Mitte in 16 minutes. The S-Bahn (S7) is equally reliable and more economical, reaching the centre in around 30 minutes.
Taxis are plentiful and reliable. Bolt and Uber both operate in Vienna and are convenient for late evenings.

Vienna rewards those who linger. Should you find yourself with a day or two to spare before or after the wedding – and we warmly hope you do – the city has a great deal to offer.
One of the world's great art museums, in a monumental imperial building. Vermeer, Rembrandt, Bruegel – and ceilings that rival the art on the walls.
The Habsburg summer residence – 1,441 rooms, magnificent gardens, and a view from the Gloriette that is simply not to be missed.
Vienna's coffeehouse tradition is UNESCO-listed. Try Café Central, Café Landtmann, or Demel for Melange, Einspänner, and Sachertorte.
The Staatsoper needs no introduction. Standing tickets are remarkably affordable and offer an authentic experience impossible to replicate elsewhere.
Klimt's "The Kiss" resides at the Upper Belvedere – possibly the most romantic painting in existence. The Secession houses his extraordinary Beethoven Frieze.
Vienna is the only world capital with wine production within its limits. The villages of Grinzing, Nußdorf and Neustift am Walde offer wonderful Heurigen experiences.
The vast imperial palace at Vienna's heart – home to the Spanish Riding School, the Imperial Apartments, and the Sisi Museum. A city within a city.
Climb the South Tower of the Stephansdom for panoramic views across Vienna's roofscape. This Gothic cathedral has presided over the city since the 12th century.
Stroll the grand Hauptallee, ride the historic Riesenrad Ferris wheel, then explore the extraordinary Naschmarkt – Vienna's beloved open-air food market.
